I am working hard to not “let anything or anyone decide what I get to have.” I am trying not to “let a nightmare have power over my dreams.” and every day I am struggling to not “allow the hard time to make me weak.” I want to say “ I willed it to make me strong.” One day I will be ready to say this outloud. Right now I’m just taking it day by day, moment by moment. It’s a hard struggle as a cancer survivor to stay strong when we feel weak, but we have to remember it’s our life and we are can choose how we live it amongst the peaks and valleys. We are allowed to be emotional, we are allowed to ask for help, we are allowed to have our down days, but we are also allowed to build our support team to cheer us on, to achieve our goals, to continue dreaming and to live the life we are willed to have. Stay Determined and Don’t Give Up!
